WRC Membership - Code of Conduct


This Code of Conduct outlines the conduct Women’s Resource Centre expects from our members and aims to nourish a supportive and productive network whilst helping us protect each other.
WRC expects its members to:

  • Align with and respect our Values, Vision and Mission.
  • Respect other members and WRC staff/associates, treat everyone fairly and without prejudice or discrimination
  • Respect the eligibility criteria for the Sisterhood, Solidarity and Activist memberships.
  • Respect the eligibility rule for our training or events (e.g. if the training is for women only, Black and minoritised women only, or similar)
  • Respect and appreciate the knowledge and expertise of the other members participants
  • Be an active listener to other members' stories at events, trainings, conferences
  • At trainings / events - respect the confidentiality in the room - share the learning but not the person
  • Never engage in patronising, abusive, threatening or intrusive behaviour
  • WRC reserves the right to refuse or terminate membership of any individual / any organisation who is in breach of the above Code of Conduct.
